INTRODUCING C3 JUDGE KARIM BOURGI

On October 22, 2018, Valrhona will be home to 8 of the world's top Pastry Chefs as Valrhona’s C3 (Chocolate Chef Competition) Final begins. The winning pastry chef will be determined by a panel of world-class chefs. Curious to know more about the judges? The eighth judge we would like to introduce is Karim Bourgi.

BIO

Chef Karim Bourgi is an artisan pastry chef based in Dubai. As the Corporate Pastry Chef for Al Mana Group, he managed the openings of La Maison Du Chocolat Paris in Dubai and Kuwait. He ran the opening the Hermes Paris Cafe in Fashion Avenue in Dubai Mall.

This pastry lover, born in Senegal from Lebanese parents, graduated in Le Cordon Bleu Paris in 2000 and trained in the finest establishments in France.

He is a member of Les Toques Blanches Du Monde and works closely with Valrhona, Elle & Vire, Bravo and Sasa Demarle.

His desserts and creations have earned him hundreds of thousands of followers on social networks. Currently, he is active as a private consultant and instructs pastry master classes all over the world.
